Unfortunately I have most of those games.
I got a PS3 in 2010 and was really looking forward to FFXIII. At chapter 9 and 20+ hours in, I realized I was being trolled. I just quit the game and quit Square Enix.
The latest generation of consoles pretty much stalled graphics. When PC was king it seemed like there was a generational leap every year.
I can't stress this enough. PC game revenue has been overtaking console revenue for the past few years. I'm not sure what it is with console fanboys who feel the need to shit on PCs. It's like they're overcompensating for something. I can't relate since I game on multiple platforms including PC.

Not sure about the point of this article. Obviously 80s games are going to look like crap. Looking back, some of those were the best and most popular games at the time.

Not sure why you're being downvoted. I guess gamers like the fact you get this demo for buying a game most people don't care about, exclusive on the xbox. I never imagined competition that would screw over consumers. But since you people eat it up, I don't blame the companies for doing it.
